To sign in to LAWGS, complete the following steps:
| 1. | Connect to LAWGS using the Web address: https://lawgs.aphis.usda.gov/lawgs/. |
RESULT: The Log In page appears.
| 2. | Click the Log In button. |
RESULT: The USDA eAuthentication Login page displays.
| 3. | Enter your USDA eAuthenticaion or Login.gov Login user ID and password and click the Login button. |
RESULT: If you have used eAuth credentials, you will be redirected to the LAWGS Initial Registration page which displays the following message: "Success! You have successfully signed into the USDA eAuthentication security portal.
RESULT: If you have used Login.gov credentials, you will be prompted to enter authentication codes. After successful submission, you will be directed to LAWGS Initial Registration page.
| 4. | Before you can access LAWGS, choose one of the following options: |
NOTE: You only need to do this once. If you need help, please reference Step Three of the Initial Access Guide.
| • | Option 1: My industry (applicant) organization does not have a LAWGS account, and I will be the first user and administrator for a new industry organization in LAWGS. |
| • | Option 2: I'm joining an existing organization and my organization administrator has provided me with a Unique PIN. |
| 5. | If your industry (applicant) organization does not have a LAWGS account, and you will be the first user and administrator for a new industry organization in LAWGS, click the Create Applicant Organization button and follow the steps for creating an organization. |
| 6. | If you already have access to LAWGS then you will be required to enter your Unique PIN and click the Join button. |
RESULT: The Welcome to LAWGS page appears.
